Sarah M. Crider

Sarah M. Crider is studying computational linguistics and sociology at Indiana University. With a strong background in math and an interdisciplinary approach, she brings an analytic eye to valuable social issues. Although she has historically focused on math research, her current work with EDeN aims to leverage modern AI technology for social and environmental applications. Sarah loves to work with languages, data, and artificial intelligence, learning what they can tell us about the human mind and cultures. Her specific linguistic interests include phonology, code-switching, sociolinguistics, parsing and generation, constructed languages, and dialectology.
